In two weeks summer will be among us. It is time to think about easy recipes.This one can be made in 1-2-3. Great with grilled steaks or chicken breasts. You can use any color peppers. I use all three (green, yellow and red), great color for your table. I cook this recipe in the oven. You can cook them on the grill. But try both, and see which one works better for you. Let's have a great picnic!
Poivrons Rotis:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1.4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme, dried
1/4 teaspoon rosemary, dried
4 large bell peppers, seeded and quartered
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine all first 7 ingredients, mix well. Add peppers to the mixture and toss to coat the peppers well. Place the peppers on an oiled baking sheet. Roast for 25 minutes or until tender. Peel skin off once the peppers are cooked. Serve immediately.
