Ha! The Great Pumpkin: Its time is here. They are so many recipes regarding : the pumpkin pie. Lets go further, like: Pumpkin Pie Smoothie or Hummus, why not. It is delicious and healthy. The kids will love it. Try it!
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie:
1 cup of canned pumpkin
1 yogurt, plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
1 frozen banana, cut in chunks
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash pumpkin pie spice
Chia seeds or black poppy seeds for garnish
1) Use ice cube trays to freeze pumpkin puree in perfect block-size portions, and store in a freeze-safe zip-lock plastic bags.
2) Combine pumpkin, yogurt, banana, milk, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice in a blender, process until smooth.
3) Pour into a large glass and garnish with chia seeds.
